CAS Services Statistics - Facts and Figures

Non Residential

A total of 1052 (978) requests for protection services were made to the Society.

The average number of ongoing service files open during this period was 193 (216).

Residential

A total of 63 (58) children were admitted to the care of the Society.  The average number of children in care was 120 (122).  The Society provided a total of 44,368 (44,828) days care during this period.

The Society completed 9 (25) home-studies and approved 9 (20) new foster homes. The average number of foster homes open was 109 (104) during this period.

The Society completed 9 (19) home-studies and approved 8 (19) new adoption homes.

Volunteer

The agency's Volunteer Services provided 5,904 drives and drove 608,564 (712,497) kms. The Society had 67 (60) volunteers as of March 31, 2011.
