CAS Services Statistics - Facts and Figures

Non Residential

A total of 978 (881) requests for protection services were made to the Society.

The average number of ongoing service files open during this period was 216 (211).

Residential

A total of 58 (88) children were admitted to the care of the Society.  The average number of children in care was 122 (114).  The Society provided a total of 44,828 (41,688) days care during this period.

The Society completed 25 (22) home-studies and approved 20 (19) new foster homes. The average number of foster homes open was 104 (98) during this period.

The Society completed 19 (21) home-studies and approved 19 (21) new adoption homes. The average number of adoption homes was 26 (16) during this period.

Volunteer

The agency's Volunteer Services provided approximately 13,750 (10,076) hours of service and drove 712,497 (633,036) kms. The Society had 60 (62) volunteers as of March 31, 2010.
